RARE WHITE LEATHER TOP, 19thC., FRENCH BUREAU PLAT DESK

Phenomenal 19th c. Bureau Plat desk with white leather writing surfaces. Left and right pull out slides with white leather insets as well. The shaped top has a wood border and decorative gilt bronze border, and an inset gold tooled white leather writing surface, set above three drawers. Two side drawers with brass pulls and raised corner cartouches. Center drawer has been screwed shut presumably due to lack of key. Fluted, tapered leg with brass capped feet. wood border around top desk surface.

Condition
