It might look like Stan Lee and John Romita have reached the bottom of the barrel with their "Newest Marvel Super-Star," a hairy goon called the Gibbon. But actually, this ain't a bad mag. An ape-faced mook with simian dexterity mopes around because everyone laughs at his ugly mug. Spidey gives the poor slob a pep talk, and the next thing you know, the guy makes himself a gibbon suit and decides to be Spidey's sidekick. But when Spidey laughs in his face, the Gibbon literally goes ape.
