Cherry Blossoms Blooming. Color woodcut reproduced circa 1940. 14 1/2" x 9". Framed. Hokusai (1760-1849) was a Japanese printmaker from the 18th century. This particular image of Cherry Blossoms was completed in 1832 and the original is in many museum collections. This secondary woodcut printing, as shown here, was from the 1940’s.
