Offered is a near complete set, 11 of 12, Early 1900's Baseball Player Position Buttons, with "Eat Heydt's Yankee Bread" imprint on each. All but one button has Whitehead & Hoag back papers with paten date of 1896, however these were actuallyissued between 1900-1912. Players were issued in both blue and red jerseys, however this lot is all red. Set consists of nine position players, batsman, captain and umpire. This near set is missing the Pitcher button. All have some degreeof darkening/age toning of the gold background. Light surface and edge wear as well.
