Hildegard Delius (German 20thc. ) Covered Jar, c.1930, glazed earthenware, impressed R HD 55, Germany.
Dimensions: 3 in.h. x 3.25 in.w.
Condition: Very good with no damage or restoration.
Note: Hildegard Delius was a student of the Bauhaus and for the Topferei Hameln Kiln after the Bauhaus with her husband, Bauhaus Artist and Architect(?) Peter Delius. There is a similarly glazed piece in the collection of the Cooper Hewitt Museum, New York, NY.
