The back panel has four holes in it near the top. The two larger ones appear to be original to the piece and were for wall mounting. Two smaller holes appear to have been drilled later. There are scratches around all the holes as well as a vertical split with a nail hole in it in the back panel starting at the top and extending down about three inches near the left side. There is also a 2'' x 1/2'' repair with replacement wood in the back left corner. Simpson Galleries strongly encourages in-person inspection of items by the bidder.
