Description

A black crepe jacket with shawl collar and bell cape like sleeves that are edged with black crochet insert design with a Lilli Ann California Original label. Jacket is fully lined in black satin with a three-button waist closure. Black sleeveless dress has a black satin top with scoop turned over neck and back three button closure. Skirt of dress is in black crepe. Measurements: jacket chest 34 inches, dress bust 32 inches, length 34 inches.
Naming his label after his wife, Adolph Schuman opened Lilli Ann in 1933 as San Francisco's go-to destination for exquisite suits and quality coats. Sourcing his textiles from France, Schuman imbibed Parisian sensibility into the mood of American glamor until the decline of the century.
