Houssay responds to a researcher's questionnaire entitled Homage to Alfred Nobel, with their manuscript questions, in French, at the head of the page, , asking, having received a Nobel Prize, what they think of the illustrious founder of the award, and, aside from the material satisfaction, what moral satisfaction they gained from receiving the Nobel Prize? Houssay provides his answers beneath, in French, in full, '1 - I thought that Nobel was inspired by a deep faith in the capacity of man to progress and become better and that the work of leaders should be recognised. He was guided by noble and generous motives. 2 - The material importance of the Prize did not concern me, but I thought that it could stimulate aid for science and research in my country and make their role and importance understood'. One small, light stain, only very slightly affecting one word of the researcher's questions, otherwise VG
