Artist Biography

Nathan Prouty works in ceramics and mixed media, using glitter, glaze, and resin and other varieties of materials. Prouty received a BFA from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, and an MFA from Ohio University. He has worked for galleries in both Boston and Philadelphia, as a miniature model-maker for film projects, and as an instructor of drawing, ceramics, and sculpture at Eastern Oregon University, The University of Toledo, and the University of Cincinnati. Prouty currently resides in Union, Oregon and is represented by the Lucy Lacoste Gallery in Concord, Massachusetts.
