Total eclipse photographed by David Yerex at Franconia Notch in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, August 31, 1932 at 3:30 PM. Signed in the print lower right [YEREX STUDIO NEW YORK - 1932-].

David Yerex began photographing eclipses following nearly a decade at Underwood & Underwood producing stereoview cards, and forming Yerex Studio in the Bronx by the mid-1920s. He made notable photographs of the 1925, 1932 and 1940 eclipses.
