From the conquest of Cæsar, vnto the commyng of Duke William the Conquerour, first and only separate edition, black letter, title within woodcut architectural border, woodcut decorative initials, title (from another copy) neatly window mounted, **2 misbound before **1, mostly marginal worm holes / traces, but with the odd small hole within text, occasional spotting, lightly browned, modern calf-backed marbled boards, spine in compartments and with red leather label, [STC 3131; Pforzheimer 736; Grolier/Langland to Wither 177], small 4to, Imprinted by [Thomas Dawson for] Richard Webster, 1578.
