Three Necklaces: Two Chanel and One Attributed to Grosse, 1954-74

This piece was once owned by Erna de Paz Ortiz Basualdo, the granddaughter of a prominent Argentinian family that hosted royalty in their Buenos Aires home, the Palacio Ortiz Basualdo. Erna de Paz Ortiz Basualdo was likewise known for her style, in fashion and at home, and was an ongoing client of Pierre Cardin's.  

This lot contains three necklaces.  

THE FIRST  
Necklace made up of blue glass beads with gold-tone metal and gold-tone filigree beads with enamel in repeating pattern. Stamped "Chanel" at the clasp.

THE SECOND  
Necklace made up of blue glass beads with gold-tone metal and gold-tone filigree beads with enamel in repeating pattern. Stamped "Chanel" at the clasp.

THE THIRD  
Necklace made up of gold-tone chain and blue glass beads in varying shades with a wooden hand with a cluster of pear shaped glass beads, gold-tone heart and fish.

Condition:  THE FIRST  The overall condition is very good with only light signs of wear to the claps.    THE SECOND  The overall condition is very good with only light signs of wear to the clasps.  THE THIRD    The overall condition is very good with some faint tarnish to the gold-tone metal.    Everything is sold 'As Is'. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use. The absence of any reference to the condition of a lot does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
