Galliano Dress and Jacket, Spring 1995

Galliano's spring 1995 show, known as the 'Pin Up' collection, anticipated the now-iconic designs that he would debut at Dior. This ensemble's jacket has a padded hip and tapered waist in homage to the New Look of the late 1940s. The collection included corsetry and bias-cut slip dresses, earning the appreciation of Madonna, who wore a version of this jacket.
