Photogram by Man Ray, believed to have been a part of an original maquette entitled '50 Rayographs' given by Man Ray to Roberta Kimmel Cohn to seek publishing, which was not ultimately realized. The work remained in Cohn's possession, and this example was printed by Naomi Savage, the niece of Man Ray and a photographer in her own right. Savage studied under Berenice Abbott, Man Ray's longtime assistant, and proceeded to produce experimentations which stretched the photographic medium.

In blue ink on the mount [(Reproduction)]; stamped to verso [PHOTOGRAPH BY MAN RAY] and written [Print by Naomi Savage 1963].
