OHIO DECORATED STONEWARE ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, salt-glazed, each of ovoid form with Albany-slip glazed interior, comprising a designated three-gallon capacity churn, ovoid form with flat-top square rim, incised neck ring, applied arched handles, and a wooden lid and dasher together by association, and a designated two-gallon capacity jug, ovoid form with flat-top mouth, applied strap handle, featuring brushed cobalt tulip. Jug attributed to I. M. Mead, Mogadore, OH. Mid 19th century. Jug 13 7/8" H, churn 14 7/8" H, 7" D rim.

Condition
Churn with two flakes to rim and white residue to exterior and interior; jug having some exfoliation to shoulder area, moderate chip to foot, a flake to mouth and handle.
