Description
Camilo Sunflower Tafoya (Native American, 1902-1995). An original Santa Clara Pueblo Native American art pottery stoppered decanter or vase vessel, produced 1979. Redware art clay, having wide bulbous body with cylindrical stem, with hand painted and incised encircling Native American allegorical, and geometric designs. Artist incised signature and dated to underside CAMILO SUNFLOWER TAFOYA SANTA CLARA PUEBLO 1979. With rabbit form finial stopper.
Dimensions: 7 X 5.5 X 5.5 in.
Condition: Good overall condition, having normal age related surface wear. Estate fresh to the market.
