This Bowey's Old Style Root Beer syrup pump is very hard to find. A Chicago based company, Bowey's made these pumps to be used in soda fountains for making root beer and ice cream treats. The lettering is in excellent condition with only a small amount of paint loss. The pump was manufactured by B-B Co. The porcelain barrel was made by the A T Co. It stands on a porcelain metal base. There is some wear to the gilding. There is a crack in the "Root Beer" porcelain medallion on the top of the pump. It measures 14 1/2"H X 7 3/4"W. The pump moves freely.
