Hard boards, original publisher's cloth, gold lettering on spine [a little wear]; initials written inside front cover, c. 5.1/2" x 7.1/2"; c.20 pages have a vertical impression that appear as a printing issue, very good condition.
Novel of Victorian manners about Fleur Forsyth and Marjorie Ferrar who "live dangerously."
John Galsworthy (1867-1933) was an English novelist and playwright. He won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1932.
