DESCRIPTION: 18th century front plate from large cast iron jamb stove. Decorated with a double arched canopy upon twisted columns and tulip spandrels. Central cartouche inscribed "F. Sean. Der. Son". Dated 1764. Likely Bucks County, Pennsylvania. MEASUREMENTS: 22-1/2" high x 18-1/2" wide. CONDITION: Corrosion, particularly to edges. MH.
