two signed baseballs from the American League and National League participants in the 1932 World Series, New York Yankees signatures include: Babe Ruth (sweet spot, HOF), Lou Gehrig (HOF), Tony Lazzeri (HOF), Bill Dickey (HOF), Herb Pennock (HOF), Red Ruffing (HOF), Earl Combs (HOF), Lefty Gomez (HOF), Frank Crosetti, Cy Moore, Ben Chapman, Lyn Lary, Joe Sewell (HOF), George Pipgras, Art Jorgens, Sam Byrd, Jumbo Brown, Cy Perkins, Ed Wells, Danny MacFayden, and Myril Hoag; second ball, Chicago Cubs signatures include: Kiki Cuyler (HOF), Gabby Harnett (HOF), Pat Malone, Leroy Hermann (sweet spot), Bobo Newsom (shared sweet spot), Charlie Grimm, Jackie May, Frank Demanee, Lon Warneke, John Moore, and Carroll Yerkes; each ball with JSA letter of authenticity breaking down inventory of names by panel, the signature of Myril Hoag was determined to be a "clubhouse" signature with all others in the player's original hand

Note: The 1932 New York Yankees were the first major league baseball team to play an entire season without being shut out. They faced the Chicago Cubs in the World Series that year and were victorious in a four game sweep. The famed New York lineup included nine future Hall of Famers, including Ruth and Gehrig.
