Brandard Sculpt, left side reads J.M.W. Turner R.A. Pinx. Published by Thos Agnew & Sons, London Manchester & Liverpool, March 1881. Subject depicts a people amongst Greco Roman ruins with a vast green background and open sky above, wading in a brook. Original plate engraved by Turner. Measures 39 x 33.5 inches, window measures 28 x 22.5 inches. Professionally framed in ornate gilded frame with French matting and gold metal leaf fillet. NOT Examined outside of frame.
