Description
If you are interested in underwater photography, then you will likely recognize this beautiful piece of photographic engineering. Developed by Jacques Cousteau and Jean de Wouters, the Calypso 35mm camera hit the market in 1961. The camera was the first that did not require a large bulky housing to keep it waterproof. This model was only on the market until 1963, when it was rebranded and sold by Nikonos. This camera features the original 35mm lens with 3.5f. Externally the piece is in beautiful original condition, serial #3760. The camera is untested.
