Curtis, Edward S. American 1868-1952) Photogravure "Masked Dancers Qagyuhl" Plate 358, Portfolio 10 © 1914. photogravure by John Andrew and Son. Plexi glass mounted frame. Edward Curtis employed an unusually wide variety of photographic processes. The vast majority of Curtis' prints (approximately 98%) were printed as photogravures and virtually all these were produced for his magnum opus The North American Indian.
