A set of seventeen French painted and parcel gilt dining chairs by Maison Jansen
Circa 1938
Each with a dished back and scrolled stiles, the pierced interlaced geometric and entwined rope twist carved splat surmounted by an oval tablet toprail centred with the monogram: 'A.E.F.' for Audrey Evelyn Field, above a caned seat and a single flute-inset seat frame, on ring turned tapering front legs and square splayed rear legs,
labelled: 'James Bourlet and Sons Ltd.', some with part-labels, each approximately: 51cm wide x 56cm deep x 94cm high, (20in wide x 22in deep x 37in high) (17)
