Bartlett, Apple Parish (American/Maine, contemporary), Barnyard Scene, decoupage, paint, printed paper collage and found natural objects, signed and possibly dated lower right corner (now partially obscured by the frame), 49.5 x 33.5 x 1.5 inches. Provenance: The Estate of George Griffith, Johnstown Pa. Apple Bartlett is a decorator, designer and artist. She is the daughter of Sister Parish (born Dorothy May Kinnicutt) the grande dame of American interior decorating who worked with Jacqueline Kennedy to reimagine the rooms of the White House when JFK was elected president.
