SPECTACULAR LARGE CARVED WOOD ANGEL, 19TH C. Comprising a large and attractive carved, polychrome and partial gilt wood Guardian Angel. Carved mostly in full round being of good anatomy, proportions and detailing. Retaining a good amount of original polychroming and with original suspension device on verso. Likely German c. 1850-1875. Height 33 inch (84 cm) width 34 inches (86.5 cm).
