Vintage Blue Enameled Star & Crown Brooch/Earrings Set, Faux Pearls & Rhinestones. The brooch has a blue enameled star with a tiered design and filigree base with ckear rhinestones in three layers, bottom - between the poitns of the star and a halo around the center pearl that sit over the blue star. There are eight foxtail chain strands that drop from the bottom of the star with a3/4" faux teardrop pearl that dangles in front of the chain. On top there is a crown design with small clear rhinestones in the tip and seed pearls at the bottom of the crown. The brooch is 2.25' long and slightly over 1" wide. The earrings are the same design as the brooch, minus the filigree botttom layer. They are appx. 1" across with two layers of clear rhinestones and a faux pearl in the center with the same blue enameled (guilloce) star as is in the brooch. Gold tone metal. Not signed. The earrings are in very good condition. The brooch has some wear on the pearl and the bail with color change on the top of the pearl's bail, with a small spot on the one strand that is really only very minimal. The stones and faux pearls are in very good conditon in the star burst section of the pieces and in the crown. All stones present. Not signed by the maker. Age is estimated at 1940's-1950's.
