Three (3) Zuni Bolos by Native American Artists: Including Two by the Great Helen Long and One (1) by Ralph & Lillie Kallestewa, One Pendant. Three excellent Zuni bolos all signed or hallmarked and boasting wonderful craftsmanship and one slide/pendant.
1.) Two (2) Vintage bolos by Helen Long, acclaimed Navajo silversmith from the mid-20th Century. Helen Long and her son Phillip Long were best known for their sterling silver Kachina rings, bolo ties, bracelets and pendant sets with turquoise or coral. Offered are two kachinas, one in Blue Gem Nevada turquoise and the other in rich coral. Bolos are 20" in length both with sterling silver with sterling silver aiguillettes. Beautiful condition, very well kept for some 45 years. 3 x 1¼" for both
2.) Very handsome, Sunface bolo beautifully made by Zuni artists Ralph and Lillie Kallestewa. Premium inlays of mother of pearl, onyx, turquoise, coral and fine details in the sterling silver make this bolo quite the fine piece. 2 x 2" 18" in length.
3.) Extremely colorful Sunface Kachina bolo (owner wanted to convert to pendant, but kachina still has leather strap slides and clasp on verso) with intricate inlays of mother of pearl, onyx, turquoise and malachite in a sterling silver mount. 3" x 1¼" bolo is hallmarked with the head of a cat/mountain lion on verso above sterling hallmark.
