oil on canvas, signed at lower right "Wm. Meade Prince," romanticized scene of a tippling station master with young woman, soldier and Native American, presented in a later frame.
SS 17.75 x 20.5 in.; DOA 23 x 26 in.
William Meade Prince grew up in Chapel Hill and coined the phrase "The Southern Part of Heaven" to describe his hometown.
