Ancient Pre-columbian Unique Moche IV Stirrup Spout Vessel c.400-750 AD. Size 8 inches high. Pre-Columbian, North Coast Peru, Moche, ca 400 to 750 AD. Moche IV Stirrup Spout Vessel. Fine pottery Stirrup Vessel with geometric ornate design. The lower circular swirls patterns depict water, the triangular central design depicts mountains. The wide flared spout supports a temple structure with a shaman inside. This flask probably had whistle capabilities. Provenance: EX: Seymour collection acquired the collection in the 1970's, Ex: Estate of Leonard Davis deceased 2005, Gifted to Leonard Davis from Margaret Reisberg.
