Description

Signed JPL France extraordinary biscuit jar with a profusion of violets. Esmerelda, our 104 year old Packing Manager, loves purple. This is one of her favorite pieces in the sale. It takes her back to her days in her youth. She would always pick violets in the spring under the old pear tree at her Aunt Mabel's house in the country. Those were such care free days. Why, she loved them so much, she decided to carry violets in her bridal bouquet for each of her 7 weddings. The only thing she liked more than violets, aside from powdered sugar coated vanilla cream puffs, was men. Yep. She has been married and divorced 7 times. Two of those was was to a set of twins. She loved how handsome they both were. Alas she couldn't get passed the way her first husband liked her high heels more than she did. Well, then she married his twin brother. Turns out, it wan't only parents that they had in common. The brother liked floral dresses and the way he looked in them. Go figure. What a phenomenal biscuit jar this is. One of the prettiest pieces in the sale. Nice! It measures 5" tall.
