Fantastic antique burlwood veneer over pine secretary bookcase, in two parts. The upper section with candle slide and arched mirrored door, opening to a fitted interior with seven shelves and two drawers. Slant front desk compartment contains a doored compartment, a pair of drawers beneath shelves and a hidden well containing two additional drawers. Serpentine base holds three drawers with teardrop hardware and raised on bracket feet. Height is 89 - 1/4 in., width 50 1/2 in., depth 22 - 1/2 in. Condition: Overall very good with some wear, cracking and scuffing commensurate with age and use and minimal veneer loss.
