JOHNNY CRAWFORD CHILDHOOD AUTOGRAPH BOOKS, 1955-1958
Three books, each embossed 'Autographs' to the front cover, one monogrammed 'J.E.C.'. Featuring signatures and personal dedications to Crawford from fellow actors and directors, most obtained on set. With inscriptions in Crawford's hand, including his name and address to the front pages, and labels identifying most of the autographs by name of production, location, and date. Signatures include James Whitmore, Ida Lupino, Howard Duff, Richard Boone, Earl Bellamy, Scott Brady, Boris Sagal, Sidney Salkow, Hugh O'Brien, DeForest Kelly, Sheldon Leonard, Eddie Cantor, Clayton Moore [signed 'The Lone Ranger, Clayton Moore'], Arthur Hill, Ricardo Montalbán, Loretta Young and others, as well as a signed inscription from Chuck Connors that reads 'Johnny, you were wonderful–I'm proud to call you son.'
