Description
Pre-Columbian, Colombia, Tairona, ca.1000 to 1550 CE. A beautiful and large pottery vessel featuring an incised regiser of geometric and stylized zoomorphic creatures around the exterior. The animals crouch in profile, with tongues protruding between sharp teeth, and a scrolling crest at the back of the head. This large bowl is in superb condition with thick walls and sharp motifs! Size: 9.5" Diameter x 5.5" H (24.1 cm x 14 cm)
