German Police Parade Bayonet by E. & F. Horster, Solingen, 13 in. blade, 17.5 in. overall. Beautifully detailed pommel with stag horn grip attached by two rivets. Police insignia is attached to the center of the grip. The crossguard still retains excellent detail, and is punch-stamped on the reverse: 'S.K. 66.' The blade is near fine, with only trace corrosion near the tip which should easily come off with a bit of polish. Maker's mark engraved and distinct. Sold with the original leather-covered scabbard with aluminum fittings, and brown leather frog. Matching unit markings on scabbard and crossguard. With a fine portepee. Overall near fine.
