Beautiful 2nd Model Luftwaffe dagger with scabbard by maker Alcoso. The pommel nut and crossguard remain in very good detail, still exhibiting almost all of their original detail at top and sides with virtually no damage and minimal oxidation. The grip has aged to a gorgeous butternut color, but there is a small chip at the top on the reverse. The braided wire wrap remains tight and is also undamaged. The well-marked blade is gorgeous, bright and almost faultless but for a trace bit of oxidation along one side of the blade near the tip. Scabbard is completely intact and bears no dents or dings, though it is quite oxidized. A silver wire portepee sets the dagger off nicely. Overall very good to fine.
