Martin Brothers Stoneware Figural Clock Case
1877
In the Gothic style, of architectural form, with a circular white enameled dial with black Roman numerals, with monopodial winged griffins, winged putti heads, and other gothic motifs, inscribed R.W. Martin London 2/1877 No. 59; further inscribed on the underside R.W. Martin. Height 16 inches, width 8 7/8 inches.

Provenance: Pascoe & Co., Miami, FL, February 26, 2013.

Note: This clock case was previously sold at Sotheby's, NY, The Harriman Judd Collection British Art Pottery, January 22, 2001, lot 245.
