Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, 26th to 31st Dynasty, ca. 664 to 332 BCE. A mold-formed faience ushabti with regal figural details and relatively visible hieroglyphs all enveloped in baby-blue glaze. A column of hieroglyphs down the obverse perhaps provides the names of Osiris as well as the deceased. Size: 1.3" W x 4.3" H (3.3 cm x 10.9 cm)

Light earthen deposits, softening to some finer details, fading to glaze in scattered areas, and one stable pressure fissure beneath proper right ear, otherwise intact and very good. Great preservation to figural form.
