Medal awarded to Gabriel Riesser, for his contribution to the emancipation of German Jews. The medal shows three women, one carries two babies in her arms, alongside the inscription in German: Have we not one father? Have we not been created by one god?. The medal also includes a dedication in German to Riesser, the fighter for justice and freedom, from the Jewish community of Hamburg. Germany, 1836. Diameter: approximately 6 cm.
