Warm and uniform yellow glaze applied to the surface, only the outer bottom is white glazed. Yellow is an imperial color in Chinese Dynasty color symbolism, representing power, royalty, prosperity and the earth in traditional Chinese culture.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine rings. Made in The Years of Chenghua Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
