Chinese Qing Dynasty WangBu Blue and White Porcelain Brush washer. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, globular body, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in blue and white color, depicted of bird flying from sturdy branch with dense foliage tree. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze greyish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years WangBu Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
