Carved unto a slightly flattened round box, with correspondence lid, raised from round sides over a wide cavetto Inner flange circumscribed around the containers lip allows for a perfect fitment on the each rim. The Lapis Lazuli screen presents a carving in scrolling ruyi clouds. The lapis lazuli stone is brilliant blue with silver and golden hue inclusion. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
