Spanish gold embroidered and appliqued matador jacket or "Chaquetilla" from the traditional "Traje de luces" or "suit of lights" the neck, shoulders and arms heavily embroidered and with bullion fringe and sequins on a faded and shattered purple silk ground, likely late 19th / early 20th century. 18" H (neck to waist) 18" W (shoulder to shoulder) 26" L (neck to end of arms).
