Art glass vase by Bay Area glass artist James (Jim) Wayne, smoky colored glass with upturned corners with texture inside the vase, bubbles and patterns, signed Jim Wayne and dated 1967 on the bottom. Wayne studied at San Jose State in 1963 receiving a B.S. and a M.A. in 1966., taught at USC from 1968 to 69. His work is in the collections of the Oakland Museum and Mills College. Wayne is recognized as one of the masters of the art glass community. Dimensions: Height: 10 in (25.4 cm) Width: 9 in (22.86 cm) Depth: 9 in (22.86 cm)

Excellent vintage condition, no damage, the bottom chip was created when the pontil was removed during it's creation.
