Description
Bay Area / Nevada City artist Richard Hackett (1917-1989). Attended the California School of Fine Arts from 1936 to 39, he had shown at the University of Hawaii in 1939, Art Center School, Oakland 1939 and the Crocker Art Gallery in 1967. This work is titled "The Forlorn City" and was created in 1955, consists of a mixed medium applied to board that was etched. Dimensions: Height: 14.5 in (36.83 cm) Width: 16 in (40.64 cm) Depth: 2.75 in (6.99 cm)

Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. The artwork is damage free, the original frame from 1955 shows age and wear.
