Of elegant pear-shaped body rising from a splayed foot to a tall tapering neck, covered overall with a crushed strawberry red glaze with fine delicate crackles, the glaze thinning at the mouth rim and pooling at the foot, the base incised with an inscription, the rim bound in a metal band. {Height 15 inches (38.1 cm)}.
