Item Details

Description

An Italian silver mounted table cigar box, with alternating engine turned decoration and central horse head panel. Stamped 800 further indistinct national marks circa. 1944-1968, with panel impressed 'Jacques Cartier'. Length 7" (18cm).

Condition Report:

Item displays surface scratches, wear, marks and tarnishing to silver mount.

Silver mount shows some considerable dark tarnishing to edges, with tarnishing marks though out and especially visible to plain areas between alternating engine turned pattern.

Hinged lid in good working condition, not self supporting.

Wooden box with wear, nibbling and surface scratch across front.

Some polish residue stains visible to wooden interior.

Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
