Collection of Japanese woodblock prints (ukiyo-e), ca. mid 19th century to mid 20th century.One print of a kabuki actor portraying a samurai, likely the work of Utagawa Kunisada (a.k.a. Toyokuni III) (Japanese, 1786 - 1865). Print has strong colors, but has been ripped in half. Good candidate for restoration. Tearing around edges, loss around lower left corner and center right at rip. 10" wide by 14 5/8" tall.One group of three prints (triptych), entitled "Year End Snow" ("Seibo no Miyuki") by Kunisada. Original ca. 1840s, this is likely a recut, albeit one of high quality. Framed. As Framed, 33" wide by 17 1/4" tall by 1 1/4" deep.One print by Hasegawa Sadanobu III, "Maiko and Golden Pavilion" or "Snow at the Golden Pavilion" ("Kinkaku-ji no Yuki"), ca. 1950s. Completed in the traditional ukiyo-e style. Print appears in good condition with bright colors. Not examined outside of frame. 9" wide by 13 1/2" tall (as matted); 16 3/8" wide by 22 1/8" tall by 7/8" deep. Wear and paint loss on frame.Mid 20th century recut of "Tomimoto Toyohina" by Utamaro, original ca. 1792. Matted, not framed. Mica ground, in good condition. 8 9/16" wide by 12 1/2" tall. Matte: 12" wide by 16" tall.One mid 20th century recut of "Courtesan Fujie from Manjiya" by Utamaro, original ca. late 18th century. Matted, not framed. 11 1/4" wide by 16 5/8" tall.
