Description

Vintage leather Fireman's helmet and an antique fire call box. American, ca. early to mid 20th century. Leather fire helmet is for the Wauregan, CT. Has tag on the interior for Cairns & Brother, Clifton, NJ. Minor, expected wear, good condition. 16" long by 8" tall by 10" wide.Fire call box is made by Peerless, and is mechanically functioning. Appears to have been repainted red and restored, and this was done well. Serial appears to be 13377. 10 1/2" tall by 8 5/8" wide by almost 3 3/4" deep.Keywords: fire department, firemen, fire, FD, collectible, collector, collectors, collection, first responders, telegraph
