Description
1915 War World War I 1ed Horrors and Atrocities Louvain Lusitania Logan Marshall
A scarce first edition printing of Horrors and Atrocities of the Great War, by Logan Marshall. This work was written and published because of public demand amidst the mourning of the death of 1,198 passenger and crew members aboard the RMS Lusitania that sank due to an attack from a German U-boat on May 7, 1915. This public outcry and death of US Citizens aboard the British Cunard liner was a contributing variable that led to the American entrance into World War I.
